The temples of Sri Chandramouleeswarar the historic Sri Chandramouleeswarar Temple (also called Piraisoodiya Emperuman ) - Is the temple name Keelpazar Temple, which was in ruins. The temple belongs to old historic chola style of construction about 500 yrs .The temple was found to be in a abundant state in the middle of a vast farm land in a small village in keelpazar (derived from historic word keel passi yaar) near tindivanam .After several years the walls and vimana of the temple became in a highly dilapidated state. There were very less traces of the parivara devadas, goshta devadas and sannadhi. The only part that has survived is the beautiful Chandramouleeswarar lingam. As the villagers made an appeal to the sri Chandramouleeswarar seva Trust, the renovation of this temple is been taken in the agenda.
