On March 2016 the trust held a research program to dig behind the mysteries of the temple, the result behind the 4 day research program revealed that the temple was once built 3000 years ago by a great King of Chola dynasty who used Dravidian type of architecture in his construction, as time passed the temple was marked as shivan mode, while research on the second day spotted that the temple had its own well, and on the third day the foot stone of Lord Murugan was found, this came to a conclusion that the temple had all 8 gods which includes other gods that are yet to be found .The 2 nandhies recorded some mystery of fortune that the temple had in the past, which emerges as a great glory of power the temple has on those who worship the temple.
